Entre tanto anuncio, nuevo tráiler y demás casi nos olvidamos de lo que tratan realmente los VGA, que es en otorgar los premios a los mejores juegos del año. Anoche dieron a conocer los ganadores, en sus distintas categorías: mejor juego por plataforma (PS3, PC, Xbox 360…), mejor estudio desarrollador, mejor juego por género (shooter, acción/aventura, RPG, deportivo, conducción…), mejor juego indie y descargable, mejor multijugador, mejor canción, mejor banda sonora, mejores personajes (masculinos y femeninos) y, cómo no, el GOTY 2011.
